Abstract

Abstract “This article examines the reasons for and effects of the growth in automobile production during the Thirteenth Government of Iran, with an emphasis on the dimensions of the Resistance Economy. The Iranian automotive industry witnessed a significant increase in the production of passenger cars and commercial vehicles during this period, stemming from overcoming the production shortage crisis. This research identifies the factors influencing this growth by using official statistics and analyzing economic policies. The results indicate that an inward-looking approach to production, the development of cooperation with aligned countries in the supply of parts and technology, and a focus on developing new products have played a key role in improving the situation of the automotive industry. These factors, within the framework of the principles of the Resistance Economy, have led to a reduction in dependence on foreign countries, strengthening domestic production, and increasing the competitiveness of the automotive industry, and can be used as a model for other industries as well.”
